I have been absolutely terrible about updating Aggie’s blog! I have all the info from the last two months to go back and update here when I have time. There are some updates on her Facebook page that are more recent!
But the gist is Aggie started MASSIVELY improving after I increased her dose from 5 mg/kg to 8 mg/kg at the end of month #1. Her lab work from the end of July had almost gone back to normal! Her Albumin levels were hovering just below normal but almost every other level had improved to normal levels and there were only two highlighted areas on her lab (which her month #1 set of labs had so much red I though for sure this wasn’t going to work).
I took Aggie to the vet today to have her blood drawn and I’ll have the results tomorrow. I have been encouraging her to increase her Albumin levels all month, so hopefully she listened to her mama.
Otherwise behavior wise she is back to normal, running and playing. Whatever was bothering her with her teeth and causing her to turn her head while chewing seems to have resolved as well because she’s back to eating dry food again! She’s 8.30 lbs as of today!!
