I can’t believe it’s been a little over a week since Aggie’s last shot of GS! So far things are good, her weight dipped a bit, but that was because I stopped filling a secondary bowl in the living room and apparently she won’t eat out of the feeder like the boys (who both like to eat out of the smaller bowl). But she’s now a bit higher than she was at the vet a week ago, 8.38 lb. But otherwise her temperature has been normal and her activity level has been high and more like before her diagnosis. She’s running around and playing most of the day, she’s so energetic the boys can’t keep up and she has to play by herself, as they sleep half the day away.
Aggie has two spots where the GS leaked out and got on her skin and left some abrasions during her treatment and interestingly enough there is hair growing back in one of the spots so far, but it is bright white hair in the middle of a predominantly brown area. I think it’s kind of cool.
The other thing Aggie has found she likes are Inaba Churu puréed tube treats. She was eating her second one and Linc came over to try and get some (it’s a purée that’s in a squeeze tube that I have to push out and the cats lick it from the opening of the tube) and Aggie smacked him several times and it was hilarious.
