Post Treatment- Day #11

Post Treatment- Day #11
September 3, 2019

I am night owl and one reason I enjoy it is the cats all get really playful right around 4am. Today Oliver was on top of the kitty condo in my bedroom, Aggie was on the second level and Linc was on the floor and I was playing with them with a pink flamingo feather chaser. It was a lot of fun because they were all going crazy. It’s kind of silly but just makes me happy.

Aggie was being a little lazy today, which of course puts me on alert. I think it will take a long time for me stop watching her so closely (is this what they mean by “helicopter parenting”?!). I am sure she will be fine tomorrow, but once you’ve gone through this experience things look a bit different. I am glad Maranda started an FIP PTSD and FIP Graduates group on FB, LOL. We can all freak out together.

I got the kitties some Inaba Churu treats and they LOVE THEM. They are just these little tubes of essentially wet food that you squeeze out of them and they lick them right from the tube, but they literally lose their shit over them and are climbing all over me to be the closest so they can have more.
