Day #7 – One week down!

Day #7 – One week down!
June 9, 2019

Today is the end of the first week of Aggie’s GS treatment! I look back on the last week and can’t believe how much progress she has made. It is a miracle. I can only hope things will keep getting better each day.

She still wasn’t super playful (on her own), but again, that’s okay. She ate quite a bit of “chicken” and wet food, and she showed great enthusiasm for eating, so I am grateful for that. When I say she wasn’t playful, I mean she isn’t playing with her brothers. If I pull out a string she is more than happy to bat it around and chew it. But before she got sick the boys would sleep a lot of the day and she would still be downstairs playing with her toys and having a fun time. I guess when I see that I will think she back to “normal”.

She will let Oliver groom her, she does get upset when he tries to turn it into a play session and I usually have to go and break it up, as Oliver doesn’t seem to understand she doesn’t feel good. But as they days go on I hear less and less from her in that regard. She comes up on the bed from time to time, but does’t sleep there all night like Oliver. Today is the first day she hung out on the Ripple Rug, though she didn’t really try and play in it.
