Day #2

Day #2
June 4, 2019

Aggie got her second shot today, it went much smoother than yesterday. She didn’t cry this time, there were a couple whimpers and after we were done she kind slumped over. That was a little alarming but I just let her and then a couple minutes later she was very happy eating some chicken. Tomorrow I will try pushing the medication in slower and see if she handles that better.

She has a still been sleepy, but also moving around a lot more than she has been in the past month. She went upstairs for a nap today! When I went to go see if she was hungry she followed me down the stairs at pretty much a bounding speed. It was kind of a amazing to see her moving that fast!

I didn’t see much change with her eye this morning. I’m hoping to see more improvement over the next couple of days. She is still pretty enthusiastic about getting fresh chicken. I’m not having a lot of luck reincorporating actual wet cat food back into her diet, but for now she just needs food. I’m in the process of thawing a 12 lb turkey so I think she’ll be happy with that once it’s cooked 🙂
