Day #3 – Amazing

Day #3 – Amazing
June 5, 2019

Aggie got her third dose of meds today and I am seeing changes to her right eye. I didn’t see much change to her eye in the morning before her third dose, but by the afternoon it looked like it is starting to clear of the protein build up, but also looks a lot more red. I am assuming this is normal, but I am not sure of what is “normal” since this treatment is very new.

She definitely knows the word “chicken” now and gets VERY excited for it. I know she is feeling better because she went bounding down the stairs to get some! She still isn’t wanting to play with the boys yet (which is understandable as they are little devils when they play) but she wanted to play with me some last night and was doing something she hadn’t done in awhile which was when I would walk by her when she was in one of the kitty condos she would stick her paw out at me to get me to stop and pet and play with her. Something so small is such a large step for her.

She has still been sleeping upstairs, but I actually got her to jump on the bed and snuggle with me until I went to sleep! Again another thing so small, but so amazing. I remember before she got sick ever morning she would come running up on to the bed and walk up my body to stick her little face in mine for some loves. I can’t wait for that to start happening again.
